There are certain kinds of exhaustion that only the person going through them can truly understand.
For Steven Kirwood — an Australian artist — it was the daily struggle of eating, the repeated disappointment of failed dental treatments, and the gradual loss of confidence every time he smiled or spoke to others. In addition, there was considerable bone loss in the right sinus region, making the rehabilitation process far more complex.

A complex treatment plan to fully rebuild his smile
For the upper arch, all non-restorable teeth were indicated for extraction. Steven underwent a fixed full-arch rehabilitation supported by 7 dental implants.
Due to the severe bone loss in the right sinus area, sinus lift surgery and bone grafting were performed to rebuild the necessary bone volume before restoration. In addition, teeth #17, #26, and #27 received porcelain crowns to ensure both functional and aesthetic harmony.
For the lower arch, root canal treatment and post-core restoration were completed for tooth #43 in order to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible. Steven then received 4 dental implants at positions #36, #37, #44, and #46, combined with porcelain crowns on the remaining 10 teeth to fully reconstruct his occlusion.
This was a highly complex treatment plan that required meticulous calculation of bite forces, implant stability, and long-term durability after restoration.
Throughout the entire process, Steven was closely monitored at every stage. All treatment schedules were clearly organized, and the dental team carefully explained each procedure before it was carried out.
That consistency and transparency gradually helped him feel more comfortable and trusting again after many years of hesitation toward dental treatment.

Today, Steven has completed his entire treatment journey and now has a fully restored fixed dentition.

He can eat more comfortably, chew with greater stability and ease, and enjoy a much more natural bite. The restored occlusion has brought back a sense of balance and comfort whenever he eats or speaks. His facial profile has also become more harmonious after the vertical dimension was properly restored.
